Sonali Ajwani is a third-year medical student at Dell Medical School in Austin. She attended Washington University in St. Louis for undergrad and received a degree in Psychology-Neuroscience-Psychology. She participated in many community-based efforts and collaborated with Campus Y to address health inequities and empower voices of underserved communities. Sonali also led healthcare clinics in India and the US, increasing access to screenings for hypertension and diabetes. As Internal CEO of CD Doyle, she is dedicated to building a strong leadership team, recruiting medical student volunteers, organizing training sessions, and directing clinic efficiently. Her primary goal is to expand the clinic’s reach and enhance the management of both acute and chronic conditions, ultimately aiming to improve healthcare outcomes and promote medication adherence. Alongside her passion for serving the community, she loves conducting research and hopes to pursue a career as a neurologist in the future. Outside of medicine and research, she enjoys spin classes, baking, watching comedy TV shows, and drinking iced mochas.
