Ife is a native of Lagos, Nigeria. He moved to the states 10 years ago and started a church with his father in Dallas. He discovered his passion for community and population health from his experience with less-privileged members of the Dallas community. In Dallas, he worked with Metrocrest and We Care Ministries to teach GRE to high school dropouts and engaged follow up with incarcerated and homeless members of the Dallas community.
He has also previously worked as an EMT, thorough which he found his passion for community care. He obtained a bachelor’s from University of Dallas (Irving) and a Masters public health from UTSW with research in statistical methods. He is currently a second year medical student at Dell Medical School.
Ife desires to provide an altruistic and unbiased care to whoever he is privileged to interact with at C.D. Doyle. He is committed to be a part of an inclusive Austin community and to serve without any socio-economic barriers to access to health care.
When Ife’s not studying or in school, you’ll find him playing the piano at a local church or enjoying a pick up soccer game at Zilker park.
