Kelsey Mumford, BSN, RN

​Kelsey is a medical student at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. She grew up in Lago Vista, Texas and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science and Arts in Biology degrees before heading down the street to the medical school. She is passionate about promoting health equity and working with underserved populations in her career. She is a member of the American Medical Association Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs and the Central Health Equity Policy Council, and she hopes to stay involved in state or national policy development as a future physician. She enjoys taking her Schnoodle puppy, Betty, to dog parks and trying out new restaurants around Austin in her free time.
