Katie Se graduated in Spring 2022 with a degree in biology from The University of Texas at Austin. She joined C.D. Doyle in Fall 2021, and her passion for providing continuity of care is evident in her background as a medical assistant, patient care technician, and multi-specialty chief medical scribe. Katie is committed to enhancing clinical competencies in the undergraduate volunteer program and initiating quality improvement interventions in providing culturally sensitive and equitable care by focusing on the social determinants of health. She believes that C.D. Doyle is not just a free clinic but an educational environment that equips volunteers to hone their clinical skills and operationalize principles of collaborative practice to alleviate health inequities for better long-term community health outcomes. She enjoys exploring new places, bullet journaling, and trying out new cuisine from restaurants or food trucks in her free time.
