Krishna is a senior Biology and Government student at The University of Texas at Austin. Passionate about leveraging medicine as a tool for social justice and policy reform, he worked with the US-UK Fulbright Commission, traveling to Northern Ireland to study the psychological histories behind social divisions and community relations. As part of the Health Science Scholars honors program, his thesis explores how physicians providing care in Texas are navigating challenges introduced by the current political administration. Krishna has volunteered with the C.D. Doyle Clinic since his freshman year and, as Undergraduate Director, he works to oversee clinic operations, align volunteer efforts with the clinic’s mission, and support training for teams serving the Esperanza Community. He enjoys exploring cat cafés, DJing on KVRX 91.7, and is a proponent of the performing arts.
