Sumin Choi is an MD/MPH student at Dell Medical School and UTHealth Houston School of Public Health and serves as Co-CEO of the C.D. Doyle Student-Run Free Clinic. She is passionate about improving access to compassionate, equitable healthcare and addressing the social and structural barriers that affect patients’ health. Through C.D. Doyle, Sumin has enjoyed working alongside students, physicians, and community partners to strengthen the clinic’s services and better respond to the priorities of the community it serves. She is particularly interested in urology, public health, and community-based care. Outside of medicine, Sumin enjoys playing volleyball, dancing, and exploring new coffee and matcha shops.
