Suhritha is a third-year medical student completing her Research Distinction this year on dietary adherence and barriers to following a recommended diet among patients with inflammatory bowel disease. She serves as Co-CEO of the C.D. Doyle Clinic, where she helps lead clinic operations and supports accessible, patient-centered care for underserved community members. Before medical school, she attended UC Berkeley, earned a Master’s degree in Human Nutrition from Columbia University, and worked at an underserved clinic in Harlem, New York. She is interested in internal medicine, particularly gastroenterology, and hopes to integrate nutrition and preventive health into her future clinical practice. She is also passionate about health justice and advancing equitable access to care. Outside of medicine, Suhritha enjoys reading, trying new food and drink spots around Austin, and spending time outdoors.
