Kim is a 3rd year undergraduate student majoring in Biology and Health & Society at the University of Texas at Austin. Growing up in an immigrant family has exposed Kim to the challenges people can face in getting access to healthcare due to their circumstances. She became passionate about disparities in health care, and is exploring prevalent health issues through classes, an internship analyzing the development of social impact health entrepreneurship, and of course - volunteering at the C.D. Doyle Clinic.
Kim strives to one day integrate everything she has learned through her education and experiences. By pursing a career in medicine, she wants to make a substantial impact in how health care is provided, particularly to underserved populations.
Outside of volunteering, she enjoys spending time with her family and her dog (the most precious bundle of joy), hiking, trying new food, and exploring new hobbies.
