Danica is currently pursuing a Dual Masters in Social Work and Masters in Public Health through UT/UTHealth. Her past experiences include working as a Research Assistant at UTHealth, later Research Coordinator at Baylor College of Medicine, in effort to develop more effective cognitive treatments for individuals diagnosed with schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorders. From 2018-2019, she completed an AmeriCorps service year with Foundation for the Homeless and Caritas of Austin by aiding individuals and families experiencing homelessness through rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing programs. Danica is immensely passionate about aiding those experiencing homelessness, housing instability, and severe mental illness, and is looking forward to serving individuals in need within the C.D. Doyle Clinic.
In her spare time, Danica enjoys cooking with her husband, reading, going for a hike, and exploring Austin.
