Curtis earned his B.S. in molecular biology at Brigham Young University and is currently in his third year at Dell Medical School. Before graduating he served a two-year church mission to Melbourne, Australia, and studied Vietnamese language and culture during his service. During his undergraduate education he worked in the BYU Autism Behavior lab investigating parent–child relationships in families with children affected by neurodevelopmental disabilities. He enjoys volunteering at the CD Doyle clinic and serving on the leadership team. In his free time he enjoys running, biking, and spending time with his wife and son.
