Shuda is a second-year biochemistry major at the University of Texas on the pre-med track, where he is also pursuing a certificate in the business of healthcare. He is part of the Health Science Scholars honor program and is involved in research with the department of biomedical engineering. He is from Plano, Texas, but grew up in Qingdao, China. He has been volunteering with the C.D. Doyle Clinic since January of 2019 and hopes to become a physician that provides care to the under-served with an emphasis for advocacy to broaden healthcare accessibility. In his free time, he enjoys playing racquetball, trying new foods, and hanging out with his friends.
