Mitchell Han is a first-year medical student at Dell Medical School. Prior to medical school, he attended Rice University, where he majored in biosciences with a concentration in biochemistry. During his undergraduate years, he was actively involved in many community initiatives, including disaster relief efforts with the Red Cross and education programs at underserved elementary schools. As Vice Chief of Clinic, Mitchell hopes to strengthen relationships among officers, volunteers, and patients, while identifying opportunities to optimize scheduling, streamline coordination, and enhance clinical efficiency. Some of his professional interests include health innovation, education, and health equity. Outside of medicine, he enjoys playing guitar, exploring local coffee shops, and playing tennis.
