Kathy Shen is a sophomore Biomedical Engineering student at The University of Texas at Austin. She joined C.D. Doyle in 2024 and is passionate about expanding access to care for underserved communities. Her interests lie at the intersection of medicine and technology, as she hopes to design a medical device that tackles real-world healthcare disparities. As Communications Coordinator, she works to promote C.D. Doyle clinic to a more diverse population of individuals living in the Austin area. Outside of academics and the clinic, Kathy enjoys singing (especially going to karaoke rooms) and watching Asian TV shows.
