Dr. Eric Spencer is a Family Medicine doctor with Baylor Scott & White, at the Onion Creek office. He loves primary care and has been working with underserved patients since medical school, where he helped operate the school's free clinic.
When Dr. Spencer started his residency in Fort Worth, he knew he wanted to continue helping the underserved, so he started working with a Street Medicine group that provided care to the unhoused around the area. Getting out of the hospital and going into camps, to help provide care, was such a great experience and some of his favorite memories from residency.
Moving to Austin and starting at BSW, Dr. Spencer was offered the chance to precept medical students and through doing that, got involved with C.D. Doyle. He likes being able to precept at CDD because it allows him to do two of his favorite things - work with underserved neighbors and with medical students!
