Chloe Westerman is a junior Biology BSA student in the Health Science Scholars honors program at The University of Texas at Austin, where she is also pursuing a minor in Health Communications. She is passionate about advancing equitable healthcare through clinical service, mentorship, and communication. As a UGCA for genetics, she leads discussions and develops lessons to strengthen undergraduate learning. This past summer, Chloe shadowed across cardiovascular and thoracic surgery specialties at Houston Methodist Hospital as a Kadoorie Cardiovascular Intern. She began volunteering with the C.D. Doyle Clinic in 2024 and now serves on the leadership team as Undergraduate Clinic Coordinator. In this role, she oversees scheduling and clinic flow to support high-quality patient care while designing and implementing educational opportunities for undergraduate volunteers. In her free time, she enjoys running, painting, and spending time with her three Shih Tzus.
